The Kendriya Vidyalaya Kendrapara is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan, an Autonomous Body under MHRD ,Govt. of India New Delhi. This Vidyalaya caters to the education needs of the children of central Govt. employees including Defence personnel and floating population liable to frequent transfers through out the country. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and is a ‘Miniature India’ and inculeates the feeling of Patriotism, National integration and Brotherhood in its students. This Vidyalaya prepares students for all India Secondary School Examination is imparted through the medium of English and Hindi to enable the students to achieve proficiency in both the languages. The quality of teaching is maintained by an appropriate by teacher –pupil ratio. This Vidyalaya follows a well prepared syllabus and good text books prepared by NCERT and also equipped with good libraries, good laboratories and variety of useful co-curricular activities.
